New Projects

January 21, 2009

These are pictures of my two latest projects.  The hat I made with HomeSpun so it feels great.  I think I’m going to give it to my mom.  That blue color really looks good on her.  The little bear, Bearnard, was my first attempt at making a toy.  I think he turned out ok.  However, I have to keep him for myself because I just love him so much!!  I plan to try another one soon.  I have one project lined up ahead of my next toy.  A hat for my dad!

More Tea Cup Coozies??

January 8, 2009

Are you tired of seeing these?  I think they’re so cute!  I made this one as a thank you for a lady that really helped out our company.  I think they make such a great gift.  I got the cup at the thrift store.  It appears to be nice and new from Pier 1.  Then the little packet of tea is just to top it off.

Black Gloveletts

January 8, 2009

I made this pair of black gloveletts a while ago and just hadn’t blogged them.  I like making them.  They’re really easy and, it’s fun to pick out the buttons that I use for the details.  I also love the scalloped edges.  They’re very dainty.  I know the pictures aren’t the most detailed ever but, the buttons are sort of vintage-y.  But…I really don’t know what to do with them.  I can’t think of any situation in which I would ever where them.  I would want my fingers to stay warm too!

Cute Hat

January 7, 2009

tracys-0051I just made this really cute hat.  I obviously think it’s awesome because I have a million pictures here.  I used the same pattern as the hat I made for Robert as a base but I adapted it to fit the ribbon and shape a bit.

It turned out looking kind of mushroomy in that one for some reason.

Isn’t it the greatest hat ever!!!!

Kitty Toys

January 5, 2009

I’m having so much fun making these kitty toys!!  They are really easy and the cats just love them!

These are for Sugar and Merrick.

Here is a picture of me and my “kids”!

And a bonus picture of Chester!  He is so weird.  This is him sleeping on the top couch cushion sliding on to the seat part.

Robert’s Hat

January 5, 2009

I made this hat for Robert out of black yarn that was a bit softer and thinner than basic yarn.  He has it folded up over his ears.

The pattern is:

It was really easy and fun.  I used the same pattern for his dad’s hat.  They are both a hit!!
