Black Gloveletts

I made this pair of black gloveletts a while ago and just hadn’t blogged them.  I like making them.  They’re really easy and, it’s fun to pick out the buttons that I use for the details.  I also love the scalloped edges.  They’re very dainty.  I know the pictures aren’t the most detailed ever but, the buttons are sort of vintage-y.  But…I really don’t know what to do with them.  I can’t think of any situation in which I would ever where them.  I would want my fingers to stay warm too! 

Gloveletts!

How cute are these little hand warmers?!  I’m so proud!  Don’t you love the little flowers with the button centers?  I crocheted them yesterday but with one fatal mistake.  I ran out of yarn halfway through the second glove so, I went and bought more but, it was  a different dye lot.  Bummer!!   So, half of one glove and the two flowers are both slightly off color-wise.  Sad huh?

Well, that’s ok…I’ll just make some new ones!  Hahaha small successes in learning to read patterns!
